Inspiration

A line, word, idea or scene,

to try and turn a pretty, pithy phrase

to satisfy the hunger to create

The drive to release, planting the seed for fruiting
no more buried within but set free

The anger, infatuation, the rising charge

to enumerate on a fa-fa-feeling

The awe, the prayer, the exposition, the humiliation

to prostrate in worship of Divinity

Inspiration:

it's the sunlight glancing through the birch leaves in spring,

newly fledged and fresh and green

before the summer's sun fades the vivid stage

and wind and dust coat the frame

To pause beside beauty and

just be.
