Blindness spells from a lack of light
It's withheld sight
of Glory's right
Spoken, so we see
Blind-less now
We believe
Seeing sound
Song of God, we bow
with Blazing knowledge
Our hearts shine Overcoming all darkness
Glory's radiance
A light not our own

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6

Streetlights / One hundred and twenty one

Cityscape’s haze

Vivid maze of lamp-lit veins

The masses scroll along

Hunched in a thrum of pain

I navigate to a new destination

To exonerate the numbing sensation

All my anxieties unmake me 

Until you laid me 
in Your habitation

Your guarding
 and constant keeping 

24/7 security making

Unceasing comfort,

Every inning and outing.

East-breaking light eases my mind 

Banish the oath-breakers, undermine 



Pleasure of Your surrounding presence 

Festoons of praise adorn Your goodness



Listening with reverence shields me from the unsettling

Barrier of Love, all surrounding

Echoes / Genesis 1

Echo the origin
The beginning, Logos generating
In a moment, darkness dispelling
Firmament rendering
Matter formation
Generosity narration

Echo the convergence
"Let there be"and there was; Creation 
Separation of light, waters
Creatures, winged, scaled,
Fruiting trees, plants and seeds 
Multiplication

Echo the cradle
"Let us make" image-bearing ones 
Daughters and sons, male and female  
To thrive, to fill and reveal
Ruling with authority 
Stewarding

Echo the emergence
Thus, the heavens and earth were finished
Beholding everything El made
Goodness proclaimed
Set aside a Holy day
Sabbath, for rest and celebrating
